West Indies fast bowler Shannon Gabriel announced his retirement from international cricket on Wednesday. He was out of the team for a long time. He played the last international match of his career in July 2023. At the same time, he has not got a place in the ODI team since 2019 and the T20 international team since 2013. "For the last 12 years I have dedicated myself to playing international cricket for the West Indies. I have had immense joy playing this beloved game at the highest level. As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Today I am announcing my retirement from international cricket," Gabriel wrote on social media on Wednesday.
