Lucknow Shivam Mavi ruled out of IPL 2024 due to injury
Lucknow Super Giants have suffered a big blow as their fast bowler Shivam Mavi has been ruled out of the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). The franchise announced the news through a social media video. Despite being bought by LSG for a huge sum of Rs 6.4 crore in last year's auction, Mavi did not get a chance to play a single match.
Shivam Mavi injury
Shivam Mavi has been battling injuries since August last year and has not taken part in any competitive match since then. Although he was initially included in India's Asian Games squad, he had to withdraw due to a back injury. After this, Lucknow Super Giants bought him in the auction with the hope of his contribution to the team. But now he is out of the entire season due to injury.
