Pakistani batsman Asif Ali announced his retirement from international cricket on Tuesday. Asif represented Pakistan in 58 T20 Internationals and 21 ODIs. He was often criticized for his careless batting. Asif's best performance for Pakistan was against Afghanistan in the 2021 T20 World Cup, when he scored 25 runs in 7 balls to lead the team to victory.
