Sri Lanka has announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming two-match ODI and three T20I series against Zimbabwe. All-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga, who suffered a hamstring injury during the T20I series against Bangladesh in July, has not been included in the squad.
The star all-rounder was ruled out of the three-match series against Bangladesh due to the injury. He has not been selected for the upcoming tour. The Chevrons will host the island nation for two ODIs and three T20Is.Nuwanidu Fernando returns
Sri Lankan top-order batsman Nuwanidu Fernando has returned to the team. He last played an ODI for Sri Lanka against New Zealand in 2024. Sri Lanka will tour Zimbabwe for two ODIs and three T20 matches, starting with the first ODI in Harare on August 29.

Sri Lanka tour of Zimbabwe schedule
The Sri Lankan team will tour Zimbabwe for a two-match ODI series followed by a 3-match T20I series, which will be the last bilateral T20 series to be played by Sri Lanka before the start of Asia Cup 2025.
