Australia has included spinner Matthew Kuhnemann and fast bowler all-rounder Aaron Hardy in the team for the ODI series. The three-match ODI series between Australia and South Africa will start on August 19. Australia Injured Player Update
Matt Short suffered an injury during training during the limited overs series against the West Indies, from which he has not yet recovered. At the same time, Morris has swelling in his back and has been sent to Perth for further examination.
Owen was hit by a ball on his helmet in the second T20 match against South Africa. He has been ruled out of the last T20 and ODI series due to concussion. Owen is out due to Cricket Australia's 12-day concussion protocol. Kuhnemann and Hardy are part of Queensland.
