1. Harry Brooke (Delhi Capitals)
The Afghanistan leg-spinner has been ruled out of IPL 2025 due to an injury he suffered ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy. He was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 4.80 crore in the auction and will be replaced by Mujeeb Ur Rahman, also from Afghanistan, for Rs 2 crore. Mujeeb is an off-spinner who has played 19 IPL matches between 2018 and 2021 and has represented Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

2. Brydon Carse (Sunrisers Hyderabad)
Brydon Carse has been ruled out of the upcoming season due to a toe injury he suffered during England's match against Australia in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The all-rounder was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 1 crore in the auction last year but will not be able to fulfil his commitments. The 29-year-old Carse has been replaced by South African Wiaan Mulder, who has joined the franchise for Rs 75 lakh.

3. Lizaad Williams (Mumbai Indians)
South African fast bowler Lizad Williams will not be able to play in the upcoming IPL season due to injury. He was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 75 lakh in the auction and has been replaced by Corbin Bosch, who was earlier part of Rajasthan Royals as a net bowler.

4. Allah Ghazanfar (Mumbai Indians)
