IPL 2025 auction dates announced
The dates for the mega auction of players for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 have been announced. The auction will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 24 and 25 November 2024. A total of 1574 cricketers including 1165 Indian players have registered for this auction ahead of the Indian Premier League 2025.
10 franchises will be able to spend Rs 641.5 crore
Let us tell you that this year's auction is quite big, in which India's high profile stars like Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer and Arshdeep Singh are going to participate. The 10 franchises will have a total of around Rs 641.5 crore to spend for 204 slots. Out of these 204 slots, 70 are reserved for foreign players. So far, 10 franchises have retained 46 players, whose total expenditure is Rs 558.5 crore.
