The Women's Big Bash League 2024 will kick off on Sunday, October 27 at the Adelaide Oval in Australia. Just like last season's final, defending champions Adelaide Strikers Women will play Brisbane Heat Women in the first match on Sunday at 8:10 am IST. The women's T20 tournament, organised by Cricket Australia, will see eight teams competing for the title and a total of 43 matches will be played over the next month.
The Women Big Bash League 2024 features eight teams:

- Melbourne Stars
- Perth Scorchers
- Sydney Sixers
- Sydney Thunder
Each team will play a total of 10 matches in the group stage, which will include two matches against three opponents and one match against the other four teams. The top four teams after the league matches will advance to the knockout stage of the tournament, in which the first-placed team will directly play the final of the Women's Big Bash League 2024.
