The Union Health Ministry has asked all airports and land port officials located near the Bangladesh and Pakistan border to be cautious about international passengers due to monkeypox. After the government's order, vigilance has been increased in view of the threat of monkeypox.

Arrangements made in these 3 hospitals of Delhi:

The Ministry of Health has made special arrangements for the isolation, management and treatment of any patient suffering from monkeypox in Delhi. Here a team of doctors will monitor him. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital and Lady Harding Hospital have been identified as nodal centers in Delhi.

Sources said that all state governments have also been asked to identify designated hospitals where monkeypox patients can be monitored and isolated. In view of the growing threat of monkeypox, PM Modi's Principal Secretary PK Mishra chaired a high-level meeting on Sunday. In this, the country's preparations for monkeypox were reviewed amid increased surveillance for quick identification.
