Capitals has bought Lizard for his base price of Rs 50 lakh. The Proteas fast bowler made his international debut in 2021 and has since represented his country in 2 Tests, 4 ODIs and 11 T20Is.
Lizaad Williams is an excellent bowler and can prove to be an X-factor for the Capitals, who are in dire need of a wicket-taker. Anrich Nortje has been clean bowled in every match and Williams can debut for DC in the next match only.
Talking about DC's performance so far, their performance in the current IPL has been below average. The team has lost 4 matches and won only one, which came against Chennai Super Kings.
