The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced Olympic legend Usain Bolt as the brand ambassador for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup. T-20 World which will be played in West Indies and America from 1-29 June 2024.
11-time world champion Bolt is from Jamaica, West Indies. He retired after the London World Championships in 2017. He won a silver medal in his last tournament.
Usain Bolt said I am thrilled to be the brand ambassador of the upcoming T20 World Cup. The game has always held a special place in my heart, and I look forward to attending West Indies matches at the World Cup and contributing to the development of cricket globally. While I will definitely be supporting the West Indies in the World Cup, bringing the game to America is a huge thing for cricket. It is the largest sports market in the world and what we will do for the T20 World Cup is a great opportunity to include cricket in the LA Olympics in 2028.
Usain Bolt Record
Bolt completed the 100 meter race in 9.58 seconds and the 200 meter race in 19.19 seconds. This is a world record. Bolt had won 8 gold in 3 Olympics. Of these, 2 gold were won in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, while 3 gold each were won in the 2012 London Olympics and 2016 Rio Olympics.

Jamaican-born Bolt Bolt spent his childhood playing cricket and football on the street with his brother. By the age of 12, he had decided that he wanted to make a career in sports, but was not able to decide in which sport.
One day Bolt cricket coach saw his running speed on the pitch and advised him to try running. Bolt followed his coach's advice and began training for the race. First playing for Jamaica at the Caribbean Regional Championships in 2001 at the age of fifteen, he won silver medals in the 400 meters and 200 metres. Won three medals, including one gold, at the World Junior Championships in 2002.
