Irfan Pathan picks top 3 players for T20 WC 2024

Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan took to Twitter on Tuesday, April 23, to pick India's top 3 players for this year's T20 World Cup 2024. It will be played from June 1 to 29 in the United States and West Indies. According to Pathan, India should start with Rohit Sharma, who won the Player of the Match award in the 2007 T20 World Cup final. And despite the noise about Yashasvi Jaiswal and his strike rate, Virat Kohli has been named to bat at No. 3 in the 20-man squad for the World Cup. The T20I should be a megaevent for the team.

India have been placed in Group A along with Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and USA in the T20 World Cup 2024 and will start their campaign against Ireland on June 5 in New York. The high-voltage match against Pakistan is scheduled to take place in New York on June 9.

Gayle.

Irfan Pathan has top 3 for Team India.

  3. Virat Kohli has a better strike rate in T20Is with an average of 138 + Chris Gayle + 51. His IPL strike rate this season is 150.
