Jasprit Bumrah has become the number-1 bowler in the latest Test rankings released by ICC on Wednesday. India created history as soon as Bumrah became number 1. This is the first time that an Indian fast bowler has reached the top position in the ICC Test rankings. And for the first time, a bowler has achieved the number 1 rank in all three formats. 1. Ricky Ponting (Australia)

The former Australian captain is the first batsman to top the rankings in all three formats of the game at the same time. He achieved this feat in December–January 2005/06. Ricky Ponting is certainly one of the most successful captains in Australian history and one of the greatest batsmen of all time. Ricky Ponting has scored 13,378 runs in Tests and 13,704 runs in One Day Internationals. Along with this he also scored 71 international centuries.
2. Matthew Hayden (Australia)

Matthew Hayden is one of the greatest Australian cricketers of all time. The left-handed batsman from Queensland has played 103 Tests, 161 One Day Internationals and nine Twenty20 matches for Australia in his career. Although Hayden has not played much T20I in his career, he has scored four fifties in nine matches at an impressive average of 51.33 and was ranked No. 1. The Australian opening batsman has achieved the number 1 position in all three formats.
3. Virat Kohli (India)

Virat Kohli, the Indian batsman, is a regular player of high standard. Virat Kohli is the first player from India to achieve number 1 rank in all three formats. So far, he has scored more than 13,000 runs in his ODI career and more than 8,000 runs in Test and 4037 runs in T20I cricket.
