Gavaskar believes that Yuzi Chahal’s primary contribution lies in his bowling, which could be the reason behind his exclusion from the team. In his conversation with India Today, Gavaskar explained, “Team balance often comes into play. Kuldeep’s capability as a useful lower-order batsman could be a factor in his preference over Yuzi Chahal. Additionally, Kuldeep’s ability to provide a left-handed spin option adds another dimension.”
