Tamim Iqbal announced his retirement on Thursday (July 5) at a press conference in Chattogram. His decision created a stir in Bangladesh cricket. Tamim was also attended by his wife, former captain Mashrafe Mortaza and BCB President Nazmul Hasan in the meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence on Friday afternoon.
