When was the first test match played

 Test cricket is a form of first-class cricket played between fully represented teams at international level. This is going to last for five days. Test matches had no time limit and were called timeless tests.

Many international matches since 1877 have been retroactively granted Test status. The first such match took place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in March 1877 between the teams then known as the Combined Australian XI and James Lillywhite's XI, the latter a team of touring English professionals. ICC member countries are playing Test cricket. Day/night Tests were permitted by the ICC in 2012 and the first day/night match was between Australia and New Zealand at the Adelaide Oval in November 2015.

The first Test match in cricket history was played between Australia and England in Melbourne on March 15–19, 1877. Australia won this match by 45 runs.

Development of international cricket

Cricket All England began to be played in the 18th century, but these teams were not truly representative. Early international cricket was disrupted by the French Revolution and the French Revolution. For the first time, a foreign team was organized to tour England. 1868 Australian Aboriginal national tours by English teams began in 1859 with tours to North America, Australia and New Zealand. RR Remaining Purse for IPL 2024 Auction

 Rajasthan Royals traded Devdutt Padikkal to Lucknow Supergiants in exchange for Avesh Khan in the auction. Rajasthan Royals, who won the inaugural edition in 2008 and finished runner-up after 14 years, have largely retained their players in the player auction to be held in Dubai on December 19.

Rajasthan Royals have released West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder from the franchise, who made little impact with bat or ball for the Royals last season and scored 12 runs with four wickets in eight matches throughout the season. BCCI has announced the extension of the contract of head coach Rahul Dravid.

 Rahul Dravid will continue to be India's head coach as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced the contract extension for Team India's coaching staff (senior men). The BCCI has also extended the contracts of other members of the support staff, including batting coach Vikram Rathore, bowling coach Paras Mhambrey and fielding coach T Dilip. The BCCI did not specify the contract length but Dravid is expected to continue at least till the T20 World Cup 2024.

Dravid was appointed head coach in November 2021 for a two-year contract which ended with the conclusion of the 2023 ODI World Cup earlier this month. Dravid, under whose coaching India finished runners-up in both the World Test Championship (WTC) and the ODI World Cup, has had a good record in the last two years.

With Rahul Dravid's contract expiring after the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, the BCCI had a fruitful discussion with him and unanimously agreed to extend his tenure. Dravid's first assignment as India head coach is the tour of South Africa, which begins with three T20Is and three ODIs on December 10, followed by two Tests in Centurion (from December 26) and Cape Town (from January 3) After this, India will host a five-Test series against England before the T20 World Cup in June.

 Mumbai Indians return Hardik Pandya to the team. Pandya, who spent two years with Gujarat Titans, returns to MI a bigger force than he was during that time. Sikandar Raza created history by taking a hat-trick for Zimbabwe

 Sikandar Raza became the first Zimbabwean male cricketer to take a hat-trick in T20 International cricket. Raza, 37, created history on Monday by taking a hat-trick against Rwanda in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Region Qualifier 2023. The match was played at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek.

Sikandar Raza took three wickets for 3 runs in a spell of 2.4 overs against Rwanda. The Zimbabwean off-spinner completed a hat-trick by dismissing Mohammed Nadir, Jappy Bimenimana and Emily Rukiriza. Batting first, Zimbabwe set a target of 215 runs and while chasing the target, Rwanda was out for 71 runs in 18.4 overs.

 Delhi Capitals has released the list of players released and retained by them ahead of the IPL 2024 mini-auction in Dubai on December 19. Capitals have dropped a total of 11 players from the team including the West Indies batsman. Rovman Powell and South African batsman Riley Rossouw.

Of the 11 players released, four are foreign and seven are domestic players. Separating the players on the basis of skill, three of the players released are bowlers while eight are batsmen.
