Ind vs NZ 1st Test Match Report

The first match of the two-match Test series between India and New Zealand played at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur resulted in a draw. The Indian team could not put the last nail in the coffin of the Kiwi team as India remained one wicket away from victory in a thrilling match. Indias second match in the new cycle of the ICC World Test Championship has been a draw.

In reply to 284 runs, New Zealand batted 98 overs in their second innings and lost 9 wickets. Indian bowlers could not take the last wicket even in the last 52 balls. Thus the result of the match was a draw. You will be surprised to know that this is the first time after the year 2017 that a Test match has been drawn in India. At the same time, New Zealands team has drawn a match for the first time in the last seven matches.

After lunch, the Indian team had turned the game.

When the game started on the fifth day, Team India needed nine wickets to win, but India did not get a single wicket in the first session. Tom Latham and William Somerville batted brilliantly and gave New Zealand a strong start. But after lunch, the Indian team returned, in the second session, Team India took wickets.

In the last session, Team India needed 6 wickets to win, the magic of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadejas spin was also visible. New Zealand had lost its fifth wicket on 126, after which Team India was getting wickets in some time.

Rachin saves New Zealand

Rachin Ravindra, who made his Test debut for New Zealand in this match, showed a great game and saved the team from defeat. Rachin could only make 18 runs in 91 balls with the help of 2 fours, but the good thing was that he did not lose his wicket. This was the reason why the Indian team could not take the last wicket. Even India got about 9 overs of play, in which they had to take the last wicket, but Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin and Axar Patel failed.

IPL 2022 REVEALED: List of players retained

IPL 2022 REVEALED: List of players retained by CSK, MI, DC, RCB, KKR ahead of IPL 2022 mega auction

As per BCCIs retention policy, franchises are allowed to retain only four players and the teams are required to submit the final list by November 30.

IPL 2022

The much-awaited IPL 2022 mega auction is scheduled to be held in December and though BCCI is yet to make any official announcement about mega auction date several reports claimed that it would be held in the first week of December. The BCCI has already the franchises to submit the list of retained players before the auction.

Chennai Super Kings

Without any doubt, MS Dhoni will continue to be with Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He is more than just a player for the franchise and is expected to stay with them even if he retires from the game. As per The Indian Express, Ravindra Jadeja and Ruturaj Gaikwad are also in the fray to be retained.
Apart from them, one of Moeen Ali and Sam Curran will be retained. All the aforementioned players played a key role in the teams success and the report doesnt surprise many.

Delhi Capitals

A total of 2 reports have confirmed that Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Axar Patel and Anrich Nortje will be retained by Delhi Capitals (DC). The update means that Shreyas Iyer will be released. Though he isnt expected to be back in the auction as one of the two new teams might rope him as its captain. Iyer has proven credentials as DCs skipper.

Mumbai Indians

The Indian Express reported that Rohit Sharm and Jasprit Bumrah will be retained by Mumbai Indians (MI). Rohit is their most-successful skipper while Bumrah is MIs homegrown player. Hence, retaining them is a no-brainer. Vice-captain Kieron Pollard and Ishan Kishan are two other players who are in the fray to stay with MI.

Kolkata Knight Riders

There are no confirmed reports about Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). But Sunil Narine looks set to be retained. The franchise will surely consider retaining Venkatesh Iyer as he can very well fetch more than Rs 10 crore if he is back in the auction.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Virat Kohli will be automatic retention by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). A report in NDTV recently suggested that Glenn Maxwell is another player which the franchise will retain.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Cricbuzz has reported that Kane Williamson will continue his association with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and will also lead the team. The report adds that the franchise is in talks with Rashid Khan, who has only been part of one team in the league so far.

Punjab Kings

Multiple reports have confirmed that KL Rahul will be released by Punjab Kings (PBKS). There are high chances of him joining one of the two new teams as its captain. Not Confirmed.

Rajasthan Royals

A report in ESPNcricinfo has confirmed that Rajasthan Royals (RR) have retained Sanju Samson, who can be called their homegrown player. Samson had hogged the limelight after joining RR in 2013 and made it to the Indian team on the basis of his performances in IPL and the Champions League. Apart from Samson, Jos Buttler also looks set to be retained. But theres no confirmation regarding him yet.

Ind vs Nz: Virat Kohli has a cool surprise visitor in practice.

Ind vs Nz: Virat Kohli has a cool surprise visitor in practice.

Ind vs Nz: Virat Kohli has a cool surprise visitor in practice.

Virat Kohli was not a part of the recently concluded Twenty20 International (T20I) series against New Zealand at home, which India cleaned up 3-0. He will also miss the opening Test against the visiting New Zealanders starting on Thursday but will lead the side in the second and final Test starting on December 3 in Mumbai. Busy bio-bubble life but this has kept him from continuing to put up with the tough yard and sweat it. The Indian superstar on Tuesday shared a few pictures from his practice session at The Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai and also got a surprise meeting with a "cool cat".

Virat Kohli captioned his post on Twitter, "A quick hello from a cool cat in practice."

Kohli had also shared the pictures on his Instagram account where wife Anushka Sharma reacted to it.

"Hello billi," wrote the Bollywood star. Kohli was quick to reply to the comment."Launda (boy) from dill and Mumbai ki billi," the Indian cricketers hilarious comment read.

Kohli captained India for the final time in T20Is at the T20 World Cup. Before the start of the ICC tournament, Kohli had already announced that he would be quitting as India T20I captain.

ind

The tournament also marked the end of head coach Ravi Shastris tenure. India, though, flopped at the T20 World Cup, failing to qualify for the semi-finals after finishing third in Group 2 in the Super 12 stage behind toppers Pakistan and New Zealand.

India had left themselves a mountain to climb after losing their opening two games to Pakistan and New Zealand. This meant that India was abandoned in favor of a few other teams, but with India coming out early with no one coming.

The T20I team now has a new leader at the helm in Rohit Sharma, whose full-captaincy era got off to a brilliant start with a 3-0 thumping of New Zealand.

The focus now shifts to the Tests where India will be captained by Ajinkya Rahane in the first Test in Kohlis absence.

Difference between small league and grand league in Dream11, how to win?

Difference between small league and grand league in Dream11, how to win? Difference between small league and grand league in Dream11, how to win?

Difference between small league and grand league in Dream11, how to win? Small Leagues and Grand Leagues

Do you want to know the difference between the grand league and small league in dream11? What are the grand league and small league in Dream11? There are many types of contests in the Dream11 app. Here I have discussed Small League and Grand League.

Small League in Dream11

One can play the small leagues contest on the Dream11 team with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 or 10 different players where the ‘Winners’ number and winning ‘Prize Pool’ varies. The stakes are much higher than head to head and eventually, the chances of winning are reduced depending on your opponents’ number and team. Typically, you can win a maximum of 2 to 3 times your actual investment amount.

  • It is always better to play contests like 3 members, 4 members, and h2h only because it has more chances of winnings.
  • Spend money in Small League contests with joining more contests of small amounts like 17 rupees and 35 rupees.

Anyone can participate in the competition, which gives you lakhs of rupees, but the number of winners and the prize pool varies from lakhs to zero as there are also lakhs of players participating in the competition. Therefore, teams with different conditions should be selected, which should also apply to the match. You can view all the information available on our website possible11 and on YouTube.

Extra Tip:

Before joining a Single Entry contest, you should essentially take a look at your opponents’ ‘Playing History’ and compare your recent performances against those players. You can then opt to skip or compete with these players. This is normally hard to do as you get closer to the match time as contests get filled very fast.So I recommend investigation your opponents early and joining the contest you like, well before the match’s start time.

Grand League in Dream11

Grand Leagues means grand contests that the grand people play. In these contests, players take a risk to win big prizes. There are a higher number of players in the grand leagues’ contests, and they also have higher rewards.

Grand Leagues are those Contests that have the highest number of players and the highest Prize Pool also. Usually, in Dream11 the prize pool varies from 15 to 20 crore. And the number of players also varies from 50 to 55 Lakhs.

When one plays the grand leagues, they should choose the captain, vice-captain, and an all-rounder player very wisely. They should also make sure that the team should win the contests by 61 to 65 percent. If that happens, then the users can win just a minimum amount, which is not good.

Grand League Contests are meant for taking risks; if you take a risk you can win GL otherwise it depends on your luck.

Extra Tip:

You should always try to play GL by choosing a risky Captain and a Safe VC from All-rounder.

If you want to get your money back from only one team, then your team should finish in the top 0.20%. The chances are very low and only pro players usually prefer it.

For which, you need to have about 10 out of the 11 players making it to the DreamTeam. And you must have a perfect captain/vice-captain pick. You should also consider creating 7 to 11 different teams with different Captains and vice-captains.

India bowling

On the other hand, as far as the bowling is concerned, once again the experience of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin will be the main focus. Both bowled well in the first match, but the expensive bowling of Deepak Chahar and Mohammad Siraj added to the trouble. Nevertheless, both the bowlers will get a chance to prove themselves once again. The most important issue in bowling is the sixth bowler, which Rohit Sharma did not use in the first T20.

Venkatesh Iyer, who was brought in to replace Hardik Pandya as the all-rounder, made his debut, but his medium pace was not used even once, while Chahar and Siraj were hit hard. In such a situation, Rohit Sharma would definitely like to bowl this time to prepare Iyer in the role of the sixth bowler.

Ish Sodhi will return?

On the other hand, New Zealands team wants to get back on the winning track and for this they can get Ish Sodhi back in their playing 11. Sodhi had a strong performance in the T20 World Cup 2021 and he may get a chance in place of Todd Astle.

IND vs NZ Pitch Report

Ranchi has hosted only two T20 Internationals so far. One of them was a rain-tight contest. This means that it is difficult to estimate any statistics about the pitch. If dew can play an important role, then teams will stick to the formula of fielding first after winning the toss. A score of 160 or more can prove to be match-winning in Ranchi on Friday. The spinners will get some assistance in the middle overs while the fast bowlers will have to take special care of their line and length on this wicket.

Ranchi weather forecast today

There is a possibility of light clouds in Ranchi in the evening. Although there are chances of cloudy weather, but players will get respite from the scorching heat. While the temperature during the day will be up to 27 °C, the temperature during the match is expected to be around 17 °C. Players will not have to face the challenge of humidity. At the same time, the wind can move at a speed of 8 kilometers per hour. There is no chance of rain. Significantly, in the match played between India and New Zealand in Jaipur, Team India won the match by 5 wickets. With this, India took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
